The results of our 2007 survey on Canadians' preparedness for life after work couldn't be any clearer.  Many of them won't be leaving the office at age 65 to spend the rest of their days on the golf course or travelling to far off places.

Minor accident, major impact

Maria Mendez was planning to spend March break skiing with her two kids, aged 7 and 10.  Unfortunately, days before she was due to leave she stumbled down the basement stairs, breaking the glass she was holding and severing seven tendons in the process.
