Meet the experts

The baby boomers' mass exodus towards retirement may not be as dramatic as it was once thought. More than three out of ten respondents between the ages of 53 and 62 to the 2009 Rethink Retirement™ survey indicated that they were more then 5 years away from retirement, and only one out of four (24%) is planning on stopping work completely at once when they retire. Desjardins Financial Security has asked Charles Feaver, of youngretired.ca, to comment on why would most workers still plan to work when they retire.
