How will Quebeckers and Canadians protect their wealth? This is not an easy question to answer! André Langlois will attempt to do so using the results of the third edition of the Desjardins National Survey on Retirement, conducted by SOM for Desjardins Financial Security.
According to the findings of the survey, Canadians and Quebeckers are both optimistic and pessimistic. Many believe they will be able to retire at the expected age, but a large number of them are doubting their ability to save enough, and the ability of the government to pay them an annuity or a pension once they retire.
The presentation is divided into three parts:
- Presentation of the trends and findings of the survey
- The context of the transfer of risk from institutions to consumers
- The means and products that could help consumers protect their wealth.
