Flexible Plans
Flexible plans are becoming more and more popular in Canada. This is due mainly to their capacity to adapt to the needs of plan members. For businesses, such plans can serve as an incentive when recruiting new talent or when trying to retain competent employees. In addition, this type of plan can help you control the cost of your group insurance coverage.
Flexible plans can include one or more of the following:
· A Health Spending Account that helps plan members in most provinces obtain a reimbursement for their medical or dental expenses tax-free (except in Quebec, where such reimbursements are subject to provincial tax).

With IntelliFlex®, you choose the number of modules you want in your plan as well as the benefits and level of coverage for each of them. Your group insurance advisor and our experts will help you determine the content of these modules so that they best meet the individual needs of each plan member.
From among the modules offered, the plan member selects the one that suits him or her the best and then specifies the coverage type needed based on his or her family situation: single coverage, couple or single-parent coverage or family coverage.
