Extended health care benefit allows plan members and their dependents to obtain a reimbursement for the following expenses:
Dental Care Benefit
Dental care benefit allows plan members and their dependents to obtain reimbursement for eligible dental expenses incurred for dental examinations and fillings, as well as special treatment such as crowns, prostheses, etc.
Disability Benefit
The disability benefit helps plan members cope with the loss of income resulting from their inability to work due to illness or injury. It may include:
Critical Illness Benefit
Complementing the disability benefit, critical illness benefit is the only benefit that covers the cost incurred if a plan member contracts one of the 17 different covered illnesses such as cancer, paralysis, multiple sclerosis or Alzheimer's disease.
As the lump-sum benefit is paid during the insured's lifetime, it helps to maintain his/her quality of life that is often turned upside down by the illness. The insured may use this sum in any way he or she pleases for such things as:

Accidental Death or Dismemberment Benefit
In the event of a plan member's accidental death, this benefit provides for the payment of a lump sum in addition to the amount provided under basic life insurance. It also provides for the payment of a percentage of the lump sum in the event of accidental dismemberment.
