- Be careful when you give out information about your insurance contract or sign documents.
- Never give a signed blank form to a health care professional or service provider. Fraudulent claims could be submitted in your name.
- Beware of service providers who collect higher fees when their clients have insurance plans.
- If you have reason to believe that a health care professional or a co-worker is abusing your group insurance plan, don't hesitate to report it. Any information you provide will be treated confidentially and anonymously.
